Tricia Norby, ECE Director & School Counselor
Hi! My name is Tricia Norby and I am the School Counselor and Director of our Early Care & Education (ECE) Program. I have degrees in psychology (BS), philosophy (BS), education (MA) and counseling (MA). I began my educational journey as a preschool teacher. After obtaining my counseling degree, I went on to work at Catholic Charities as a therapist and Coordinator of Family Programs. I've been at St. James since 2011 and love the welcoming environment. I also enjoy seeing students' growth and progress at St. James, which for some, is 10 years!
After school and on the days when I am not at St. James, I am usually seeing clients in my therapy office. Since my three children are now adults, this allows for extra time to hike and kayak with my husband, Patrick. I also enjoy reading, gardening, baking, and looking after our chickens and ducks.
