Sheri Brunner, 2nd Grade Teacher

Hi!  My name is Sheri Brunner.  I graduated from Edgewood College with a BS in Elementary Education.  I am licensed to teach EC:EEN, PreK-3rd grade.  I have taught for 23 years in Catholic Schools.  I taught 1 year in preschool and 16 years in kindergarten at St. Aloysius School in Sauk City.  After that, I taught 5 years in second grade at St. Luke’s in Plain and have been teaching 2nd grade at St. James School since 2021. 

St. James School is a very welcoming and positive environment to work in.  I enjoy teaching the 2nd graders about the sacraments.  It always renews my faith and sharing my faith is a blessing.  

I live in Black Earth with my husband, Dennis, a chocolate lab, and two cats.  We have three grown sons and two grandsons.  In my free time, I enjoy reading, going to movies, boating, 4-wheeling, gardening, and spending time with my family, especially my grandsons.  Hopefully soon, my husband and I can travel again.  We love to go on cruises.
